A puppet, one of ancient form of theatre to enter the human toy's closet.
With about 2.5 million gigabytes brain memory capacity, I admit I cannot remember my first encounter with a puppet, vaguely, it must be around my 4th or 5th year. The one experience of an old puppeteer who used to frequent our school is the reason this story has made it here.
The man was an expert, he would have a couple of puppets at his show. A 62 inches TV like box was his tool of trade, inside, all sort of things, the most valued being the puppets, I bet he had a name for each. We all loved the man or so we thought, who wouldn't, all he did was make us happy.
Today I look back at it and wonder, did he had those toys or they had him. He was most creative in there, without them, he was lost, with every string he pulled he brought them to life and they gave him a reason for breathing, entertaining kids was his livelihood and was his lifeline.
What I never thought then was what the puppets would say if they actually spoke, may be they would say, "In our world, the man plays by our rules and thus we are the puppeteers".
