The Grandfather Paradox

There are those days when stuff just do not want to work with you, we all have them. One of mine was a date, I met this lady in some coffee house in Nairobi, I had planned the day really well to get her to experience the good in me and it all was until the bill hit beyond my budget and none of my sweat glands could hold back. Anyways, my sister came through but not without some sense talk, she said... "That date wasn't just about you proving your value to the lady, it was for her to be worthy of you as well". I didn't go for more dates until an year later. For a while though, I always wished I could go back in time with the right amount and recently I have been thinking about a time machine. This is the time machine story.
It so happens if you made a time machine and went back in time to kill your grandfather before he had kids, you will not be born and that means you will not make the time machine thus you will not go back in time to kill him, either way, you will remain the same but maybe If I made it back to before the date, I will plan right on the amount and the situation would have not been so humiliating.
The thing is, I am not willing to unlearn my sister's advice. Good or bad, there are stuff we are not willing to erase, they are part of who we are.
