In the resent days their has been news of young people committing suicide. But the saddest part of it was a large number was made up of young single mothers. These lady died leaving their younglings motherless as well as practically orphaned.
Although suicide deaths are often identified as unplanned death, it's not necessarily true. Suicidal ideation and behavior is often associated with depression and expressed plans. Many victims try to confide in their loved ones but often associated to attention seeing or a joke.
Unfortunately many feel overwhelmed an useless in their lives and choose death as a release.
The sad part in all this loss is the children will always feel responsible for this loss. As the society grieves this losses I pray that the children may find peace and gain support to face the unending trauma this loss may bring.
As a society I pray that we may realize that depression is real. Our role is not to judge but support. Mental health professionals can help. Don't shy away from asking for help.
The strongest people are those willing to establish they are not always in control.
