In to the most notorious clubs you would find her, into the darkest drug dens she was a peddler. Nella was just a 18 year oldteenage girl traumatised by life occurences. She lost her mother a few hours after she was born due to uncontrolled post partum haemorrhage. Nella was brought up by her father amongst her two older siblings.
This specific incident of losing her mother made her feel depressed. She turned to a life of alcohol and drugs . A lustful life. All she wanted was to forget of the fact that the world had denied her what a girl needed most at her age, a mother, an advocate, a mentor, a teacher and a role model . When she was 15 years, her father remarried a woman whom was so caring to her. At that time she was just an innocent girl because she had not awaken to the gap she had had before. She loved Gladys her step mother, she found comfort in her until when things did not work between Gladys and Nella's father.
Gladys had to separate herself from the family, it was too much of a heartbreak for Nella's father but it was worse for Nella. She felt like the world did not want to give her a chance to be loved by a woman or even give her a mother figure. This is when she embarked on drugs and overrated 'fun'. Eventually she dropped out of school since she thought she had stressed her father enough . Nella became engaged to the wrong company until she got pregnant. Nella cried every night, she thought of abortion, she sort help on how to abort but God was on her side despite everything. She found Gladys far away from home and her comfort was back . They did not live together but she offered her a shoulder like a mother to her. Gladys guided her alot including on how to nurture her pregnacy and her baby. She guided Nella into motherhood and Nella was a quick learner.Nella brought up her daughter with the best kind of love, the love that she had missed before. Gladys had taught Nella that not every bad situation ends up worsening. Sometimes things change and the life storyline starts making sense with the fact that no man is happy until his end is known. We always don't have control over our lifes but we end up writing that story out of an inward motivation.
