Blue Shades, Blue Vision

Applique pants and t-shirts, sports shoes, shades and jungle hats, the outfits I used to rock way back when I was a mama's boy, before life forced me to grow up before I was ready to, that was me and maybe there are still parts of me that just never grew up. As someone once said "The creative adult is the child who survived".
It is the blue shades that reminded me of then, we would go out have fun and when we came home, I would narrate how I saw a blue drink, blue food, blue cars, blue people, blue flowers and so on just for someone else to sarcastically say the car was colourless, the flowers were black and so on.
The memory made me wonder how many times I have been in blue shades or green shades that I failed to see the real colour of things. The epiphany had me question how many times my brain and heart have been under shades that I failed to understand people, situations and circumstances correctly.
Well, if I was to wear them shades today, at least I would know not everything is blue because my brain outgrew that. The work is in the heart and the mind, if they are orange from the inside, there is no outgrowing that, they will always see and express orange. Perhaps the only way is paint the heart and mind whatever colour or colours you want. If green is the one, it is known for peace, order, gratitude, abundance, well cultured and with a healthy energy.
Happy painting, if you do need to paint your "shades".
