Jane and John are taking a walk separately but exactly at the same time. She is taking hers in the forest and him on the city streets. Here are their stories.
John passes by a gardener who is pruning the city trees, green leaves are all over and he can't stand it, he thinks the guy is literally punishing the trees, the leaves are dying by the strike of the slasher, they are bleeding in green.
Jane is walking through the forest paths, she's enjoying the sound of stepping on dry dead tree leaves, she thinks those leaves lived a full life, served the tree well and fell off at the right time to create room for young leaves as well as create food for the kid plants. The thought makes her happy, to her everything lives or dies for life to continue.
She thinks out loud "This is the beauty of natural death".
