It was the gunshot I heard in my head that woke me up. Hot strikes of tears raced down my face.
I saw everyone there, I remembered it was my brother's ( collins ) birthday. Little wonder it was filled with so many people.
They counted 1, 2,3,... as collins was cutting the cake. By this time I heard the sound of the explosive placed in collins' cake.
Suddenly, terror filled the air as unknown men in black fired violently.
Fathers were falling, mothers were covering their children and children were crying.
All exits were manned by this men. It was as if the hall was painted red as blood filled everywhere. The pungent smell of blood was choking.
I was lying helplessly and lifelessly on the floor. I was already in the pool of my own blood. Everything was so blurry. I could only see faint images and everything was turning into circles.
My mum assured me that nothing was going to happen to anybody. I smiled weakly as I cleaned my face with the damp handkerchief.
" hey sister wake up "
This was my sisters voice . I thought in my head . I opened my eyes to scan the room.
Suddenly,
realization hit me. I've been dreaming all along. There was no one around. I was all by myself.
