Secret Behind Soft and Layered Chapati.
Most people love taking chapati but the challenge is that they do not know how to prepare them. Today we are going to do it together step by step.

Before you start cooking there are two things you should know;
# How you knead your dough determines everything.
# The heat you use should be medium not too low nor too high.

Ingredients.

# All purpose wheat flour.
# Sugar or salt (depends on the taste you want).
# Warm water.
# Margarine (optional).
# Cooking oil.

Instructions.

# Add 3 cups of flour in a clean bowl.
# Add salt or sugar (or both) in the bowl then mix them until they are finely mixed.
# Add one and half cups of warm water into the bowl and mix them well for 10mins.
# Continue kneading the dough for at least 15mins until it becomes non-sticky on your hands.
# On top of the dough add 3tbsp of cooking oil and keep kneading until it is super soft. Cover the dough and leave it up to 40 - 50 mins for it to be extra soft. ( You can use a dry cloth or a plastic paper bag).
# After the minutes are over, put your dough in a dry place and roll it making a big round circle. Smear some cooking oil on top of it and cut it in 12 equal parts. Then, create a coil like balls with each part you made from the dough.
# Using your rolling pin, roll your coil like balls into a round shape again.
# On a heated pan, place your circular chapati. Heat both sides to your liking color and place it on a dry bowl. ( on a medium heat).
# Note: After you are done cooking cover the chapati with an aluminum foil to avoid them getting hard.
Finally enjoy your soft layered chapati with your favorite stew.
