Nancy was born when her mother was only sixteen years old. She was born as a result of rape. Because of this, her mother disliked her so much.
It came a time her mother got married. She moved into the marriage with Nancy. Marriage was okay but on Nancy's side, it was not good at all. Her mother gave birth to a girl. By this time, Nancy was doing all chores in the house. She was the house keeper. Sometimes she could not go to school so that she would take care of her younger sister and the house.
On the other hand her step father was like a monster to her. He used to beat her anytime he felt like. He used to hate her so much. He even didn't want to see her face or hear her talk. He was telling her that she had an ugly voice. It was really tough for Nancy. She was crying everyday asking God why she was passing through hell.
When she was twelve years old, her mother told her that her education was over. So she used to stay at home doing all the house work Her uncle, 'brother to the father' started telling her that he love her. Sometimes he used to lock Nancy in his house all day. It bacame a habit because he was harassing her sexually anytime he wanted to do so. He warned Nancy not tell anyone unless he would kill her.
One day, Nancy felt that it was too much for her. She decided to tell her mother what was happening between her and her uncle. Her mother went and asked the uncle about it but he refused. He said that he didn't do it and the mother and father believed him. That night Nancy was really beaten for accusing her uncle falsely. She cried telling her mother to take her to the hospital, so that they can get the prove but her mother could not listen to her.
Life continued, the uncle escaped because deep down he knew that what Nancy was saying was true.
Her mother used to go to business trips. Nancy was left to take care of her younger sister.
That day her mother went to a business trip as usual. That night, her father sneaked into her bedroom. He went and raped her the whole night. He threatened her not to speak about it. The father made it a habit everytime the mother was away.
Nancy was so depressed, she decided to tell her mother what was going on. Instead of taking action, her mother beat her mercilessly she even wanted to kill her.
She said that her husband couldn't do such a thing. He was not a rapist. Nancy escaped one morning because what was awaiting her was death.
