Mary was born and brought up with her both parents. They loved her alot because she was the only child they were blessed with. She was given whatever she wanted. She grew up knowing about God and going to church everytime she was free.
She completed her primary school education and she passed. She went to one of the best schools in the country. Her parents were very happy for her. One day when she was going back to school after December holiday, she met with a guy, very handsome. They talked for a while and then he dropped Mary to school. They even exchanged numbers. Mary used to call him while at school. The guy also was sending her pocket money. They continued talking until they became close to each other.
When the next holiday came, Mary didn't go to her mothers house. She went to the guys house rather. She stayed there for one week and then went to her mothers house.
Before going back to school, her mother noticed weird things, like sleeping alot, vomiting and she was so moody. They went to the hospital and Mary was found pregnant. Her mother could not believe it. She told her to take her to the owner of the pregnancy, but too bad he was not there. He escaped after knowing what he had done to Mary. Her mother was very disappointed but there was nothing she would do about it. So she stayed with her daughter until she gave birth to a handsome baby boy. The parents took her back to school while they took care of her child.
After completing her high school education, immediately she got married to a guy who used to be her teacher. She went home took all her clothes and her baby and they moved in together to start a home.
The first year of their marriage was so cool. They enjoyed every minute they were together. By the end of that year, they were blessed with a beautiful baby girl, but unfortunately, things had started changing. The husband was coming home late and when Mary asked about it, she was beaten mercilessly. He was also beating Mary's son telling him that he was not his father, that he should go away to look for his father.
He was not buying food, paying rent, paying school fees for the boy and many others. Mary used to hustle so that she could feed her children. Life became so bitter. Back home, her parents were more than annoyed with her. She betrayed them by getting married and they wanted her to continue with her education so that she would become a doctor. So they never wanted to hear anything from her. There was no where to run to. There was no one to lean on. The life indeed bacame tough.
