It has been an year since we had a conversation and two years since we were together. Today, I decided to call him, to hear how he has been and atleast put some sense in our friendship which was not as strong as before, maybe because of the distance and different scopes of life.

Mark was undergoing a terrible situation, despite of the state of life he was living, he decided to keep it to himself, maybe he was paranoid of the fact that even if he was to tell me, I would help with nothing since I was a student who still depended on his parents.

He was living with a girl, let me call her his wife as they were living together as she was pregnant, in the second trimester, still young with a long way to go, mark unstable with no job neither was he financially stable. Life was becoming hard day in day out as even food was now becoming a challenge................... Its a long painful story..

How I really wish I could help and make our friendship fruitful and full of support, but unfortunately I still have a long way to go.
And one day, when I will be stable both mentally and financially may I never neglect someone who will be really in need of my help.
