A project of time

The year has been long and challenging. Being able to start a project jas being scary and impossible. But as we go through this day one major thing is clear time is money. We all have one thing we have always wanted but never had the time. But now our time has been forcefully given. Many have been forced to be at home during this covid period. So why not make the best of it and find a project.
My little project was painting. I always thought my house is a total mess. This week I decided why not pick a brush and do. Oh no believe it or not this project was a lot harder than just picking up a brush and doing it. But with hope and self-trust we can do whatever we put our minds on. After a week of paint and renovations, I have to say I learned a lot more from this project than I had to anticipate.
Five major lessons I learned
1. I can do all things:- this has true meaning in all senses. We can pay someone to do the projects but when we do it we gain a new skill
2. Patience is not as easy: this project taught me that you can not see the outcome of your work just because u demand it. We have to allow the process to happen
3. Fun is created: Working on my own house was a challenge in the beginning but as I continued I realized I enjoyed myself much more. I had a chance to relax while working
4. Our children appreciate our involvement: My son was more excited about the paint than I was. He felt it was his way of owning his home while working with me.
5. The opinion that matters belongs to me: Many felt I was being foolish and should pay someone to do it. But in the end, I was the only opinion that mattered.
It's not always easy but take a minute and find something you like and can perform. Do it with confidence and self-trust u gain a sense of accomplishment while relaxing. May 2021 be a year I change.
